Junior Cycle Subject Options
Guidance on Making Subject Option Choices
Students will study 10 examination subjects at Junior Cycle Level.
This is comprised of 8 Core subjects and 2 Optional Subjects. All girls study 3 non-examinable wellbeing subjects also. The below table outlines the spread of subject
All girls will be asked to choose 3 subjects in order of preference. The school will endeavour to give every girl their first 2 options, however in some cases, due to the spread of option choices, this may not be possible and girls will be given their 4th choice option instead
