Hockey
The Hockey
team trains each Tuesday 3.30pm - 5.30pm throughout the year. This activity is open to
all students and they always welcome new players.
Camogie
The Camogie
team competes in both Cork Colleges and Munster Colleges competitions at 1st
Year, Junior and Intermediate grades. This includes league and championship
fixtures and blitz days during the year. This team reached the final of the
Harrington Intermediate blitz and the Munster U14 Junior Camogie Championships last year and hopes for further success in the
near future.
Soccer
The Soccer
team trains on Wednesday each week throughout the year. The 1st year
team competes in local and regional futsal tournaments.
Rowing
Currently
our students are involved in a collaboration with Cork Boat Club. The
girls visit the club each Wednesday after school.
Ladies Gaelic Football
The school currently collaborates with St Michaels Ladies Football Club whereby coaches from the club visit the school each week to coach the girls.
Tennis
The school has 3 recently renovated professional tennis courts. Opportunities to play are scheduled during PE class after school. Lessons from an external tennis coach will be available. Girls can use the courts during lunch and break time slots.
Tennis
Basketball will be coached by Mr Michael Hallahan, coach of Douglas Panthers, next year.
